Best Drinks by Price
Drink mixes ranked by price per serving, cheapest first - the format you buy by the tub, in training as well as racing.
Drink mixes run from well under a euro to over eight euros per serving in our catalogue, and the sachets hold wildly different amounts of carbohydrate, so the sticker price on its own tells you almost nothing. A high-carb mix can look expensive per serving and still be reasonable per gram, because each serving carries 80 g rather than 30 g.
Cost also compounds harder here than on any other shelf, because a bottle mix is what you use on every long ride and every hot session, not only on race day. The value play is to price your everyday hydration-and-fuel bottle carefully and pay up only where the product does something specific, such as a verified glucose-fructose blend for going above 60 g/h.
