Best Recovery powders by Protein
Recovery drinks ranked by protein per serving, with the honest caveat that more protein is not a better recovery product.
The muscle-repair benefit of a single post-exercise feeding saturates around 0.3 g of protein per kilogram of body mass, roughly 20 to 25 g for most athletes. More in one sitting does not build more. Recovery drinks that state protein cluster from about 15 to 21 g per serving with a top around 30 g, so most of this shelf already sits in or near the useful band.
Which is why the number that actually separates endurance recovery from a repackaged gym shake is the carbohydrate-to-protein ratio. Endurance guidance lands carb-led, in the region of 3:1 to 4:1, because refilling glycogen is the rate-limiting step for how you feel tomorrow. Read the protein column as a floor to clear, then read the carbs column next to it.

The top 10
Read protein as a floor around 20 to 25 g, then check carbs in the same row: the ratio is what tells you what the product is for.
